The fitting has socket (slip) ends, Schedule 40 rating, and is fabricated from PVC Type 1 Grade I compound (cell classification 12454). It meets ASTM D2665, ASTM D3311, ASTM D1784, ASTM F1866 and is NSF certified and conforms to the Uniform Plumbing Code.
