The SPACEPAK ESP-2430V is a vertical fan coil unit designed for high-velocity air conditioning and heat pump systems in residential and light commercial applications. Built around a six-row copper tube and aluminum fin evaporator coil, it removes up to 30% more humidity than conventional coil designs — a measurable advantage in humid climates or tightly built homes. The cabinet measures 24 inches wide by 16.125 inches deep by 33 inches tall and features a baked enamel finish for corrosion resistance. The blower motor is factory-balanced for vibration-free operation. The unit ships with a nitrogen holding charge to protect internal components during transit and storage.
The ESP-2430V is rated for 2 to 2.5 ton applications and is intended for installation in vertical configurations within high-velocity ducted HVAC systems. It can be paired with a conventional outdoor condensing unit provided the unit capacity and refrigerant line connections meet SPACEPAK recommendations. Typical install scenarios include new construction and retrofit applications where high-velocity, small-duct distribution is specified. Licensed HVAC technicians handle installation in both residential and light commercial settings.
Designed for use in SPACEPAK high-velocity air conditioning and heat pump systems at 2 to 2.5 ton capacity. Compatible with conventional outdoor condensing units as long as capacity and refrigerant line connections meet SPACEPAK recommendations.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and the manufacturer's installation guidelines. Disconnect and lock out all electrical power to the system before beginning any service or installation work. Verify that the outdoor condensing unit capacity and refrigerant line sizing conform to SPACEPAK specifications before commissioning. Refrigerant handling requires EPA Section 608 certification.
