The SOUTHWIRE RC100 is a galvanized rigid threaded conduit coupling designed to join two lengths of 1-inch threaded rigid metal conduit or IMC conduit end to end. The threaded interior accepts standard conduit threading, creating a secure, low-resistance mechanical and electrical bond between conduit sections. Electricians install this coupling in conduit runs where a continuous threaded rigid or IMC system is required. The galvanized steel construction resists corrosion, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor conduit installations.

This coupling is commonly used in commercial and residential electrical conduit systems where rigid metal conduit or IMC is specified. Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC Article 344 for rigid metal conduit and Article 342 for IMC.
