The SOUTHWIRE P20270-1B cable is designed for remote control, signaling, and power-limited circuits as per NEC Article 725. This 22 AWG 4-conductor stranded bare copper cable features Low Smoke Polyvinyl Chloride (LS-PVC) insulation and an aluminum foil shield with a 24 AWG tinned drain wire. It is suitable for security systems, sound and audio applications, public address systems, intercoms, and alarm and access control circuits. The cable includes a rip cord for easy jacket removal.

  • Designed for Remote Control, Signaling, and Power-Limited circuits per NEC Article 725.
  • Suitable for communication circuits per NEC Article 800 (for 22 AWG - 16 AWG sizes).
  • Applicable in security, sound, audio, speaker, public address, intercom, alarm, and access control systems.
