The SOUTHWIRE NMLQ9150 is a 90-degree nylon liquidtight connector sized at 1.5 inches, designed to terminate flexible liquidtight conduit at junction boxes, enclosures, and equipment knockouts. The gray nylon body resists corrosion and withstands exposure to moisture and mild chemicals, making it suitable for wet and damp locations. Licensed electricians install this fitting as part of flexible conduit runs where a right-angle termination is required. The 90-degree angle reduces strain on conduit and wiring in tight equipment bays and panel installations.
This connector is used in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations wherever flexible non-metallic liquidtight conduit must terminate at a 90-degree angle. Common applications include HVAC equipment connections, motor terminations, and outdoor electrical enclosures. The gray color and nylon construction are appropriate for non-metallic conduit systems. The 1.5-inch trade size accommodates standard 1.5-inch flexible liquidtight conduit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct equivalent to TOPAZ P495 and MADISON NMLQ-9150. Fits standard 1.5-inch non-metallic liquidtight flexible conduit systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). De-energize the circuit and verify voltage is absent before beginning conduit work. Hand-tighten the connector body into the knockout, then use an appropriate strap wrench or conduit fitting tool to secure without over-torquing the nylon threads. Ensure the liquidtight conduit jacket is fully seated and the sealing ring is properly engaged before final tightening.
