The SOUTHWIRE NMLQ9075 is a nonmetallic liquid-tight box connector with a 90-degree elbow configuration, designed for 3/4-inch conduit connections. It provides a secure, watertight termination point where liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit (LFNC) meets an electrical enclosure or junction box. The nonmetallic construction resists corrosion, making it suitable for wet or damp locations where metal connectors may degrade. Licensed electricians and electrical contractors install this fitting as part of branch circuit and equipment wiring runs that require flexible conduit protection with a sealed connection at the box entry.
This connector is used in commercial and industrial electrical installations where 3/4-inch liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit terminates at a panel, junction box, or equipment enclosure. The 90-degree angle allows conduit to exit the fitting perpendicular to the box face, which is useful in tight spaces or where a straight connector would create excessive conduit bend. Typical applications include HVAC equipment wiring, pump controls, and outdoor electrical enclosures exposed to moisture or wash-down conditions.
Compatible with 3/4-inch liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit. Cross-references to Topaz P492 and Madison NMLQ-9075, making it a direct replacement for those part numbers.
Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and verify zero voltage before opening any enclosure or making conduit connections. Hand-tighten the locknut firmly against the enclosure wall to maintain the liquid-tight seal, and avoid over-torquing the nonmetallic body. Inspect the conduit end for clean, smooth cuts before inserting into the connector to prevent seal damage.
