The SOUTHWIRE NMLQ1075 is a straight nonmetallic liquid-tight box connector designed for securing liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit to electrical enclosures and junction boxes. This fitting creates a watertight seal at the point of entry, protecting conductors from moisture and contaminants. Constructed for straight-entry installations, it accepts 3/4-inch liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit and threads directly into standard knockouts. Electricians use this connector in commercial and industrial wiring runs where moisture exposure is a concern and metallic fittings are not required.
This connector is suited for use in damp and wet location applications including HVAC equipment connections, pump installations, outdoor lighting runs, and machinery wiring where flexible conduit is routed into enclosures. The straight body style is the standard choice when the conduit enters the box in a direct line without requiring an angled approach. It is compatible with 3/4-inch trade size liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit systems commonly found in residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and direct-fit connector for 3/4-inch trade size liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit systems. Also referenced as Topaz P472 and Madison NMLQ-1075 for cross-reference purposes.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for liquid-tight flexible nonmetallic conduit systems. De-energize the circuit and verify power is off before opening any enclosure or making conduit connections. Hand-tighten the connector locknut securely against the enclosure wall to maintain the liquid-tight seal without over-torquing the nonmetallic body. Inspect the conduit end for clean, square cuts before seating it into the connector to ensure a proper seal.
