The SOUTHWIRE N-200600 is a rigid conduit nipple designed for use in electrical conduit systems where a short, threaded connector is needed between enclosures, panels, or fittings. This nipple measures 2 inches in trade size and 6 inches in length, providing a direct, rigid pathway for conductors between two threaded entry points. Licensed electricians install rigid conduit nipples as part of conduit runs in commercial, industrial, and residential applications where mechanical protection and a secure, code-compliant raceway are required. The N-200600 is built to handle demanding installation environments and conforms to standard threading for straightforward makeup.
This nipple is suited for use in electrical panel connections, junction box entries, and conduit system transitions where a short, rigid section is needed. It is commonly installed in commercial and industrial settings where rigid metal conduit is specified by the engineer of record or required by local code. Electricians use it wherever two threaded hubs must be bridged with a fixed-length conduit section.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit rigid conduit nipple for use with 2-inch rigid metal conduit systems and compatible threaded fittings and enclosures.
Rigid conduit nipples are installed by licensed electricians in accordance with NEC Article 344 requirements for rigid metal conduit. De-energize all circuits and lock out the panel before beginning conduit work. Use appropriate pipe wrenches and thread sealant as required by local code. Do not over-tighten threaded connections, as this can damage threads and compromise the integrity of the conduit system.
