The SOUTHWIRE LQA9200 is a 90-degree liquid tight box connector made from zinc die-cast construction, sold in a 3-piece pack. Designed to terminate liquid tight flexible conduit at enclosures, junction boxes, and electrical panels, this connector provides a secure, watertight mechanical connection at a right-angle entry point. The 90-degree angle is suited for installations where conduit must transition along a wall or enclosure face without excessive bending. Licensed electricians and experienced electrical contractors install these connectors in commercial and industrial wiring applications where conduit protection and moisture resistance are required.
These liquid tight box connectors are used where flexible conduit must enter an enclosure at a 90-degree angle, common in machine wiring, motor terminations, HVAC equipment connections, and panel installations. The zinc die-cast body provides durability in both dry and damp-rated locations. They are appropriate for use in commercial, industrial, and light-duty applications where maintaining conduit integrity at the point of entry is critical. Supplied as a 3-piece set, this pack suits service calls and small installations alike.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit connector for liquid tight flexible metal or non-metallic conduit terminations at standard knockout openings in electrical enclosures and junction boxes. Also referenced as Madison Electric LQA-9200 and Topaz 496.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for liquid tight flexible conduit systems. De-energize all circuits and lock out power at the panel before beginning conduit termination work. Ensure the knockout opening is properly sized and deburred before threading the connector into place to avoid damaging the sealing components. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as zinc die-cast fittings can crack under excessive torque.
