The SOUTHWIRE LLLA50CB is an LL-type aluminum conduit body designed for use with EMT and threaded rigid metal conduit in both dry and wet-location installations. Manufactured from corrosion-resistant aluminum, this conduit body features a hub on one end and one on the left side, making it suitable for redirecting conduit runs and providing pull or splice access points. A domed cover is included to allow additional wiring space, and a gasket is provided for wet-location protection. The unit is NEMA FB 1 rated and UL listed. Smooth, rounded integral bushings in the hubs protect conductor insulation during installation and throughout the life of the assembly.
This conduit body is intended for residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical installations where conduit runs must change direction or where junction access is needed. The LL configuration redirects conduit 90 degrees with the exit port on the left side. It is appropriate for use in exposed outdoor locations, conduit systems in wet environments, and service-entrance or branch-circuit raceway runs. Installation is performed by licensed electricians working to NEC requirements.
Designed for use with threaded rigid metal conduit only in a 1/2-inch trade size. Compatible with EMT and rigid conduit systems as an OEM-style conduit body fitting for standard electrical raceway installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC articles governing raceway systems. De-energize all circuits and verify absence of voltage before opening or wiring the conduit body. Use with threaded rigid metal conduit only as specified; do not install on unthreaded conduit. Secure the domed cover and gasket properly to maintain the wet-location rating of the assembly.
