The SOUTHWIRE L1102 is a 90-degree squeeze-type conduit connector designed for making angled entries into electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and outlet boxes. Constructed from zinc die-cast, it delivers solid mechanical holding power without the need for locknuts on the connector body. The 90-degree angle allows conduit to enter a box from the side while keeping the run parallel to a wall or ceiling plane. Licensed electricians and experienced electrical contractors install this fitting during rough-in and finish wiring stages on both residential and light commercial projects. At 2.5 inches in length and 1.75 inches in height, it fits into tight spaces where straight connectors cannot route cleanly.
This connector is suited for use in conduit runs that require a right-angle transition into a metal electrical box or enclosure. The squeeze-style clamping mechanism secures the conduit mechanically without threading, making installation faster than threaded fittings in many field conditions. It is commonly used in residential wiring, light commercial electrical work, and panel rough-in applications where a 3/4-inch conduit entry at a 90-degree angle is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-fit connector for 3/4-inch conduit entries into metal electrical enclosures and junction boxes.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize the circuit and verify absence of voltage before opening any enclosure or box. Insert the conduit into the connector and tighten the squeeze mechanism securely to ensure proper mechanical connection. Do not over-tighten, as zinc die-cast fittings can crack under excessive force.
