The SOUTHWIRE ELE-20045 is a 45-degree EMT conduit elbow designed for making directional changes in electrical metallic tubing installations. This fitting allows conduit runs to change direction at a 45-degree angle without the need for field bending, helping maintain consistent bend radius and raceway integrity. It is sized for 2-inch EMT conduit and is a standard component in commercial and residential electrical rough-in work. Licensed electricians install this fitting as part of a complete conduit system protecting branch circuit and feeder wiring.
This elbow is suited for use in both indoor and outdoor conduit systems where a smooth, factory-formed 45-degree transition is required. It is commonly installed in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and residential construction during electrical rough-in. The ELE-20045 fits into standard EMT conduit runs and is compatible with standard EMT set-screw or compression-style couplings and connectors used at the elbow ends.
Designed as a standard OEM-style replacement and new-installation fitting for 2-inch EMT conduit systems. Also referenced as Madison Electric ELE-20045, Madison ELE-20045, and Topaz 26.
Installation of EMT conduit elbows should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) requirements for conduit systems. De-energize all circuits in the work area before beginning conduit work. Secure the elbow using listed EMT fittings at each end, and ensure the completed conduit system is properly supported per NEC requirements. Do not use this fitting with conduit types other than EMT.
