The SOUTHWIRE csph1 is a circuit-size pulling head designed for use in electrical wire and cable pulling applications. It attaches securely to conductors, creating a reliable mechanical connection point that allows installers to pull wire through conduit runs without damaging the conductor insulation or termination ends. Electricians and low-voltage technicians reach for this pulling head when working on branch circuit installations where a clean, controlled pull is required. The csph1 is part of the Southwire GripIt line of pulling accessories built for everyday trade use.
This pulling head is suited for residential and commercial electrical installations where conductors must be routed through conduit. It is commonly used in panel feeder work, branch circuit rough-in, and retrofit pulls where existing conduit is already in place. The tool is compatible with circuit-size conductors and is intended for use with standard wire-pulling equipment and cable pull lines.
Designed as an OEM-style pulling accessory for circuit-size conductors used in standard conduit installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. De-energize all circuits in the work area before beginning any wire pull. Attach the pulling head securely to the conductor before threading the pull line, and inspect the connection for proper seating before applying tension. Do not exceed the rated pull tension for the conductor size being installed.
