The SOUTHWIRE/COLEMAN CABLE 67603202 is a two-piece SimPush EMT removal tool set designed for releasing SimPush push-to-connect fittings from electrical metallic tubing conduit. Each tool slides directly onto a SimPush fitting and disengages the internal grip mechanism, allowing the conduit to pull free without damaging the fitting or the tubing. The set covers both 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch conduit sizes in a single package. Constructed of molded plastic, these tools are built for repeated use in watertight EMT fitting applications. A molded hang tag on the side of each tool lets both pieces be stored together on a ring, keeping them accessible on the job.

Installation Notes

These tools are installed and removed by licensed electricians as part of conduit fitting service or rework. Before removing any EMT fitting, de-energize the circuit and verify power is off at the panel in accordance with NFPA 70 lockout/tagout procedures. Slide the appropriately sized removal tool over the SimPush fitting collar until the grip releases, then withdraw the conduit. Do not use pliers or other tools to force the removal tool — hand pressure is sufficient and prevents damage to the fitting.
