The SOUTHWIRE/COLEMAN CABLE 65071001 is a 1/2 inch EMT push-to-install box connector designed to secure EMT conduit to electrical boxes without tools. Part of the Southwire SimPush product line, this fitting uses a push-in installation method that allows electricians to make fast, secure conduit connections in a fraction of the time required by traditional set-screw or compression connectors. The connector is manufactured from corrosion-resistant, copper-free aluminum. Each package contains 30 connectors. These fittings are rated for dry locations only and are reusable — they can be removed using the SimPush removal tool, sold separately.
This connector is intended for use in commercial and residential electrical installations where 1/2 inch EMT conduit is terminated at junction boxes, device boxes, or panel knockouts. The tool-free installation method makes it well suited for new construction wiring, device rough-in, and panel feed work where installation speed is a priority. Licensed electricians working under NEC guidelines are the primary installers for this fitting type. The dry-location rating limits use to interior conduit runs not exposed to moisture.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch EMT conduit terminating at standard electrical boxes with concentric or eccentric knockouts. Rated for dry location installations only. Removal requires the Southwire SimPush removal tool, sold separately.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians in accordance with applicable NEC requirements for EMT conduit systems. De-energize all circuits in the work area before making conduit connections at boxes or panels. Push the conduit firmly into the connector until it seats fully — verify seating before proceeding. These connectors are not rated for wet or damp locations and must not be used in exterior or exposed-moisture applications.
