Product Description

The Southwire 54151-CFOW is a 4-inch round, fan-rated ceiling box with a 1-1/2-inch depth designed for old-work installations. It uses old-work bar hangers and mounting brackets for direct attachment to structural members, provides side and bottom 1/2-inch knockouts, and has a 15.3 cu-in capacity for wiring. Joist ratings are 16 in OC — 70 lb for fans / 110 lb for fixtures and 24 in OC — 35 lb for fans / 50 lb for fixtures. The kit includes mounting hardware, an NM fitting, and a dust cover; the product is UL listed and RoHS compliant.
