The SOUTHWIRE 411030507 is a 14 AWG stranded machine tool wire rated for use in industrial control panels, machine tool wiring, and related electrical applications. Built with a polyvinylchloride (PVC) insulation jacket, this wire measures 0.136 inches in outside diameter and is constructed with 41 strands for flexibility in tight routing and repeated flex applications. The wire carries a maximum operating temperature of 221 degrees F and a minimum operating temperature of -22 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of controlled-environment installations. Licensed electricians and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this product.
This wire is intended for use in machine tool control circuits, industrial automation panels, and equipment wiring where resistance to acid, moisture, and oil is required. The brown color coding supports organized wiring runs within control enclosures. At 500 feet per spool, it is well suited for panel shops, service contractors, and maintenance departments that wire or rewire industrial equipment on a recurring basis.
Designed as an OEM-style and aftermarket wiring solution for machine tool control panels, industrial automation enclosures, and equipment wiring applications requiring UL-listed, oil- and moisture-resistant 14 AWG stranded wire.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 79 (Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery). De-energize and lockout/tagout all equipment before routing or terminating wire. Follow applicable conduit fill tables when routing through conduit, and verify terminal torque specifications against the equipment manufacturer's documentation rather than this wire specification.
