The SOUTHWIRE 411030506 is a 14 AWG stranded machine tool wire rated for use in industrial control panels, machine tools, and automated equipment wiring. Built with 41-strand copper construction and polyvinylchloride (PVC) insulation, it delivers flexible, reliable conductivity in tight routing environments. The outside diameter measures 0.136 inches, and the wire is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 221 degrees F and a minimum of -22 degrees F. The insulation resists acids, moisture, and oil, making it well suited for environments where fluid and chemical exposure are common. Each spool contains 500 feet of continuous wire in blue.
This wire is intended for internal wiring of machine tools, industrial control equipment, and automation panels. It is commonly installed by industrial electricians and panel builders working on CNC equipment, conveyor systems, motor control centers, and similar machinery. The blue color supports color-coded wiring schemes used in machine control circuits. The 500-foot spool length is appropriate for larger panel builds or multi-machine installations where longer continuous runs reduce the need for splices.
Designed for internal wiring of machine tools and industrial control panels where UL 1063-rated wire is specified. Suitable for applications requiring oil, moisture, and acid resistance per NFPA 79 machine tool wiring standards.
Installation should be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with NFPA 70 (NEC) and NFPA 79 for industrial machinery. De-energize all equipment and follow lockout/tagout procedures before routing or terminating wire. Use appropriate wire lugs and termination hardware rated for 14 AWG stranded conductors. Avoid exceeding the published temperature rating at termination points or in areas with sustained elevated heat.
