The SOUTHWIRE/COLEMAN CABLE 22959183 is a 50-foot length of 14 AWG stranded copper THHN building wire in green. THHN (Thermoplastic High Heat-resistant Nylon-coated) wire is a standard for branch circuit wiring in conduit across residential and commercial construction. This wire features a nylon jacket over a PVC insulation layer, rated for 90 degrees C dry and damp locations and 600 volts. The stranded construction provides flexibility during pull-through in conduit runs compared to solid conductors. Green insulation designates this conductor as an equipment grounding conductor per NEC convention. Electricians and electrical contractors use this wire for grounding applications in panel work, sub-panel feeds, and equipment circuits.
This wire is suited for use in residential and light commercial electrical installations where a flexible, conduit-pulled grounding conductor is required.
