The SOUTHWIRE 22957501 is a THHN/THWN-rated building wire designed for general-purpose electrical wiring in commercial and residential construction. This 14 AWG stranded copper conductor carries a 15-amp rating at up to 600 volts and ships in a 500-foot spool. The stranded 19-strand core improves flexibility compared to solid wire, making it easier to route through conduit runs. A thermoplastic insulation layer is covered by a nylon jacket, providing resistance to abrasion, heat, moisture, oil, and gasoline. The red jacket color supports standard color-coding practices for circuit identification. Licensed electricians install this wire in conduit-fed branch circuits, control wiring, and machine tool wiring applications.
