The SOUTHWIRE 20502101 is a 2 AWG stranded copper THHN/THWN building wire rated for 95 amps at 600 volts. It features a thermoplastic insulation layer with a nylon jacket and is constructed with 19 strands for flexibility during pull-through in conduit. The maximum operating temperature is 194 degrees F. Electricians use this wire for branch circuit wiring, feeder runs, and general-purpose power distribution in commercial and residential construction. The single-conductor configuration and nylon jacket make it well suited for conduit installations where resistance to abrasion, heat, moisture, and oil exposure is required.

This wire is appropriate for use in dry, damp, and wet locations in both residential and commercial electrical systems. Common applications include service entrance feeders, panel-to-subpanel runs, motor branch circuits, and general-purpose branch wiring pulled through metallic or non-metallic conduit.
