The SOUTHWIRE 193 is a box of NMC3 cable staples designed to secure nonmetallic sheathed cable in residential and light commercial wiring installations. These staples are used to fasten NMC3-type cable to wood framing members, keeping runs tight, protected, and compliant with NEC requirements for cable support and spacing. Electricians reach for dedicated cable staples when roughing in branch circuits, running cable through stud bays, or securing runs along joists and rafters. The boxed format provides a job-site-ready supply suited for high-volume rough-in work.
NMC3 cable staples are a staple supply item on residential new construction and remodel electrical projects. They are used wherever NMC3-rated nonmetallic cable must be fastened to structural framing at code-required intervals. The box format makes them practical for continuous runs and multi-circuit rough-in work where a large staple count is needed without frequent resupply.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard supply staple for use with NMC3 nonmetallic sheathed cable in residential and light commercial electrical installations.
Installation is performed by licensed electricians during the rough-in phase of electrical work. Power down any circuits in the work area before running or fastening cable. Drive staples flush without crushing the cable sheath, as over-driven staples can damage conductor insulation and create a code violation. Follow NEC Article 334 for proper cable support intervals and staple placement requirements.
