The SOUTHWIRE 13056728 is a Type UF-B underground feeder and branch-circuit cable built for direct earth burial and wet or corrosive indoor locations. The 10 AWG, 2-conductor configuration with ground (UFW/G) carries branch-circuit current in residential and light commercial applications where standard NM-B cable is not rated. The insulation and outer jacket are formulated to resist acids, alkalis, corrosive fumes, chemicals, lubricants, and groundwater. The cable is noncorroding, sunlight-resistant, and rated to not support combustion. Licensed electricians install this cable in outdoor circuits for landscape lighting, outbuildings, pumps, and similar loads. UL listed.

This cable is used in direct-burial branch circuits running underground between a structure and a detached garage, shed, well pump, or outdoor panel. It is also suitable for wet or corrosive indoor locations where standard non-metallic sheathed cable is not permitted by code.
