The SOLER PALAU 411011 is an 11-inch gravity backdraft damper designed for horizontal-mount roof exhauster applications. It features a galvanized frame that is 2 inches deep with aluminum louver blades. A felt seal along the leading edge of each louver provides quiet closing. The spring-assisted design allows blades to open quickly under airflow and close tightly when the fan stops, preventing unwanted backdraft. Licensed HVAC technicians and ventilation contractors install this damper as part of a complete exhaust system on commercial or industrial rooftop units. Outer dimensions are 10.75 inches by 10.75 inches.

This damper is intended for horizontal-mount exhaust applications on rooftop ventilation equipment. It is rated for use with LPD Low Profile Exhausters in sizes 6 through 8, and CWD Exhausters in size 8. An optional motor kit, part number 411611, is available for powered operation. This damper is not approved for use in grease exhaust applications and must not be installed in explosive or flammable airstream environments. It is suited for general commercial ventilation where backdraft control is required.
