The SOLER PALAU 411008 is a gravity backdraft damper designed for use with roof exhauster systems in horizontal-mount exhaust applications. Built with a galvanized steel frame that is 2 inches deep and aluminum louver blades, this damper prevents reverse airflow when the exhaust fan is not running. Outer dimensions measure 8 inches x 8 inches. Spring-assisted operation allows the blades to open quickly when airflow is present, and a felt seal along the leading edge of each louver provides quiet closing. Licensed HVAC technicians and commercial ventilation contractors install this type of component as part of rooftop exhaust assemblies.

The 411008 is rated for horizontal-mount exhaust installations and is compatible with the size 7 CWD Exhauster.
