The SMEAD SMD70320 is a leatherlike expanding file designed to organize and transport large volumes of paperwork without the need for a file cabinet. It measures 15 x 10 inches and features 21 alphabetical pockets spanning A to Z, each separated by full-height dividers for clean, consistent access. The tuff gusset construction extends into the front and back panels twice as far as standard expanding files, allowing each pocket to expand up to 7/8 inch. Double-thick reinforced front and back panels add structural support under heavy loads. An elastic cord closure keeps contents secure during transport. This file is suited for administrative professionals, office managers, and field staff who need a portable, high-capacity filing solution.
The SMD70320 is appropriate for general office environments, job sites, and any setting where documents need to be sorted alphabetically and carried without a cabinet. Its 21-pocket A-to-Z layout supports large paperwork sets such as client records, invoices, permits, or reference documents. Cloth tape reinforcement is applied at the top of the gusset for added durability at the highest-stress point of the file. The unit of measure is each, sold individually.
Designed as a standalone portable expanding file suitable for standard letter and legal-size documents up to 15 x 10 inches.
No installation is required. When loading the file, distribute paperwork evenly across pockets to avoid overloading individual sections and stressing the gusset. Store flat or upright in a dry location to maintain panel rigidity. Avoid exceeding the designed expansion capacity of each pocket to preserve the integrity of the gusset and dividers over time.
