The SMEAD SMD35605 is a stackable manila folder divider designed to create multiple organized filing sections within a single folder. Made from 11-point manila stock, each divider features a 1/5-cut tab in an assorted side position for quick section identification. A scored hinge allows up to 1/2 inch expansion, and reinforced 2-3/4 inch slit punching secures the divider over a 2-inch prong B-style fastener. Office administrators, filing clerks, and records management professionals install these dividers to segment documents without disrupting paper order. Each pack contains 10 dividers.
These dividers are suited for both end-tab and top-tab folders across residential, commercial, and institutional filing environments. Common applications include personnel files, tax records, legal case folders, and any high-volume categorization task requiring multiple labeled sections within one file. The assorted tab positions prevent stacking overlap, making individual sections easy to locate at a glance. They are particularly useful in medical offices, law firms, HR departments, and accounting practices where dense file organization is routine.
Designed for use with end-tab and top-tab folders equipped with 2-inch prong B-style fasteners. Suitable for personnel, tax, legal, and general categorization folders requiring internal section dividers.
Insert the divider over the prong fastener before loading documents into the applicable section. Ensure the scored hinge is oriented correctly so the expansion fold faces the open end of the folder. No tools are required for installation. Handle with care when removing individual sections to avoid tearing the slit-punched hinge area.
