The SMEAD SMD19023 is a heavy-duty legal-size classification folder built for high-volume document filing in demanding professional environments. Constructed from 25 point pressboard, it offers rigid structure that holds up to repeated use. The folder includes two 20 point kraft stock dividers reinforced with tear-resistant tape at the fold points. A gusset expands to 2 inches to accommodate thick document sets. Two 2-inch prong-style fasteners are positioned at locations 1 and 3, and 1-inch twin-prong fasteners are mounted on both sides of each divider, keeping papers securely organized within each section. Tabs are cut at 2/5 position right of center for easy drawer identification.

The SMD19023 is suited for legal-size filing applications including personnel records, real estate transactions, accounting files, and banking documentation. The multi-section design allows related documents to be grouped within a single folder while remaining physically separated by divider.
