The SMEAD SMD14063 is a heavy-duty classification folder designed for professional document management in high-volume filing environments. Built from 25 point pressboard with high recycled content, it delivers the structural rigidity needed to stand up to repeated use in active file systems. Two fiberboard dividers with fasteners keep letter-size documents sorted and secured within a single folder. A tear-resistant gusset expands to hold up to 2 inches of material, giving this folder a working capacity suited for thick project files or multi-phase case records. Sold in a box of 10.
The SMD14063 is used in office, legal, medical, and administrative settings where documents must be grouped, subdivided, and retained in an organized sequence. The 2/5-cut tabs positioned right of center allow for clear, consistent labeling across a filing drawer. The letter-size format fits standard lateral and vertical file cabinets. This folder is well suited for project files, client records, regulatory documentation, and any application where a single folder must contain multiple subdivided document sets.
Designed as a standard letter-size classification folder compatible with typical vertical and lateral file cabinet drawers that accept letter-size hanging or straight-shelf filing systems.
No tools are required to set up these folders. Clear existing file contents and label tabs before loading documents to maintain consistent drawer organization. Fasten documents to the built-in fasteners before inserting dividers to avoid misalignment of subdivided sections. Handle pressboard folders with dry hands to preserve the structural integrity of the board over time.
