The SMEAD SMD10336 is a manila file folder built for everyday filing and long-term archival use. Each folder features 1/3-cut reinforced tabs that stand 0.5 inches high, providing added durability at the tab edge where wear typically starts. The body is constructed from 11-point material — a sturdy stock used in commercial filing applications — with rounded corners on both the front and back panels to reduce tearing and curling over time. Each folder is pre-scored for 0.75-inch expansion, allowing it to accommodate thicker document sets without losing its shape. This box contains 100 folders.
These folders are suited for use in standard lateral and vertical file cabinets found in offices, legal environments, medical practices, and administrative workspaces. The 1/3-cut tab pattern provides three staggered tab positions, making it practical to set up visible, sequential filing systems across hanging folder frames or drawer files. The expansion scoring makes them a reliable choice for archiving project files, records, and reference materials that accumulate over time.
Designed as a standard letter-size manila file folder compatible with typical vertical and lateral file cabinet drawers and hanging file frames that accept standard folder stock.
No tools are required to set up these folders. Insert documents before placing folders into file drawers or hanging frames. Label tabs using a pen, label maker, or adhesive label before filing to maintain a legible, organized system. When used for archival storage, keep folders in a dry, low-humidity environment to preserve document integrity over time.
