The SLANT-FIN 104-002-070 is a complete hot water baseboard heater assembly designed for residential hydronic heating systems. The unit ships fully assembled with a copper element, aluminum fins, and an electro-galvanized cold rolled steel enclosure finished in Nu-White baked enamel. It accepts a 3/4-inch element connection and delivers between 150 and 840 BTU/h at 1 GPM or 160 to 890 BTU/h at 4 GPM, depending on system flow rate. The assembly is 7 feet long and includes a pivot-mounted damper vane for individual room temperature control. Licensed plumbers and hydronic heating contractors handle installation in residential applications.
This baseboard unit is built for single-family homes, apartments, and renovation projects where a clean, low-profile hydronic heating solution is needed. The 1-3/4-inch floor-to-front cover opening promotes convection airflow across the copper-fin-tube element. The high-strength support brackets and no-noise expansion cradles keep accessories fitted securely along the full length of the enclosure. A 2-inch splice plate is included for multi-section runs, and extendable accessories allow wall-to-wall installation without field cutting.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation component for residential hot water baseboard heating systems operating within a temperature range of 110 to 220 degrees F and flow rates of 1 or 4 GPM.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or hydronic heating contractor. Shut down the boiler and relieve system pressure before making any element connections or modifications to existing baseboard runs. Ensure the copper element connection is properly supported and that all fittings are tightened to the fitting manufacturer specification before restoring system pressure. Local plumbing codes and IFGC requirements should be referenced for any applicable installation standards.
