The SLANT-FIN 101-401-100 is a slim-profile, hot water baseboard heater designed for residential hydronic heating systems. It delivers 160 to 840 BTU/h at 1 GPM and up to 890 BTU/h at 4 GPM across a 10-foot section. The heating element is copper with aluminum fins, and the enclosure is cold-rolled rephosphorized heavy-gauge galvanized steel finished in Nu-White baked enamel. The unit ships fully assembled and is installed by licensed plumbers or HVAC hydronic technicians in residential new construction, apartment buildings, and renovation projects.
The 101-401-100 is suited for residential applications including single-family homes, apartments, and retrofit installations. It mounts along baseboard walls as part of a hot water hydronic loop, operating across a temperature range of 110 to 220 degrees F at flow rates of 1 or 4 GPM. The 1-3/4 inch floor-to-front cover opening promotes convective airflow, and the pivot-mounted damper vane allows individual room temperature control. Extendable accessories support wall-to-wall fitting without field cutting.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation component for residential hot water baseboard hydronic heating systems using 3/4 inch element connections at 1 or 4 GPM flow rates.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or hydronic HVAC technician in accordance with applicable local mechanical and plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the hydronic system before connecting or disconnecting any element. Ensure proper support bracket placement to accommodate thermal expansion during system operation. Do not restrict the 1-3/4 inch floor-to-front cover opening, as free airflow is required for effective convective heating performance.
