For years I’ve been getting along with a pool pole too short for our in-ground pool. I always had to bend and stretch, on the verge of falling in to vacuum the deep end. Out of frustration, I found the Skimlite 6317 and used it yesterday for the first time. Perfect for skimming as well as vacuuming the deep end. The only drawback is that it is a bit heavier than our other pole but I’m certainly willing to concede that one thing since it’s understandable give the length it offers. The buttons to lengthen are nice and far better than the twist pressure fittings most others have.
It works great super light great for pools
This thing is a beast, I can reach anywhere in the pool without issue. It is the best built extension I have. The only problem was the top of the grip was damaged in shipping as the box was also damaged. The damage was minor so I didn't submit a claim. If the packing on the ends would have been better, I doubt it would have been damaged
