The SIOUX CHIEF 641px433 is a PPSU polymer tee fitting designed for PEX crimp connections in residential and light commercial plumbing and hydronic heating systems. Sized at 1 inch x 3/4 inch x 3/4 inch, it joins PEX tubing runs where a reducing tee configuration is required. The fitting incorporates patented positioning fingers that automatically align the crimp ring or V-Sleeve directly over the sealing barbs, reducing the chance of a misaligned crimp during installation. The white PPSU polymer construction is engineered to visibly show chemical exposure or UV degradation, giving installers and inspectors a built-in condition indicator. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this fitting.
The 641px433 is part of the SIOUX CHIEF AccuCrimp system, approved for use with ASTM F876 PEX tubing. It accepts both standard copper crimp rings and V-Sleeve style fittings, giving installers flexibility based on their preferred crimp tooling. Typical applications include potable water distribution, radiant heating supply and return runs, and multi-zone manifold branch connections in residential construction and remodel work. The fitting is suited for 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, and 1 inch system configurations within the AccuCrimp product line.
Approved for use with ASTM F876 PEX tubing using copper crimp rings or V-Sleeves. Part of the SIOUX CHIEF AccuCrimp fitting and manifold system, which supports 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch, and 1 inch PEX connections for plumbing and heating applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the system before cutting into any existing line. Use a calibrated PEX crimp tool or V-Sleeve tool appropriate for the ring or sleeve type being used. Verify full crimp ring or sleeve seating before pressurizing the system.
