The SIKA 654546 is a ready-to-use, commercial-grade polyurethane construction sealant supplied in a 10.1 oz cartridge. It is formulated to seal cracks, construction joints, doors, windows, siding, roofing, gutters, sills, thresholds, basements, vents, skylights, wall penetrations, and precast panels. The cured sealant is permanently elastic and delivers exceptional resistance to cutting, tearing, aging, and weathering. It will not harden or shrink over time. After cure, the material is paintable, sandable, and stainable. This product is installed by general contractors, building envelope technicians, plumbers, and HVAC mechanics performing penetration sealing and weatherproofing work.
This sealant is suited for both residential and commercial construction applications wherever a durable, flexible joint seal is required. It bonds to most common building materials including concrete, wood, brick, aluminum, steel, glass, tile, marble, stone, and etched PVC. It also seals out radon gas, making it appropriate for basement and foundation penetration work. One 10.1 oz cartridge yields approximately 24 linear feet of sealant when applied in a 1/4-inch bead. The aluminum gray color blends with metal flashing, duct penetrations, and concrete substrates common in commercial and light industrial settings.
Designed for use on most common building materials including concrete, wood, brick, aluminum, steel, glass, tile, marble, stone, and etched PVC. Suitable for interior and exterior construction joint and penetration sealing applications in residential and commercial structures.
Applied by contractors, HVAC mechanics, and plumbers using a standard caulking gun. Surfaces should be clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, and loose material before application. Clean up fresh adhesive immediately with water or an approved solvent; remove cured material with paint thinner or another approved solvent. Follow all applicable building codes and manufacturer safety data sheet guidance when working in enclosed or below-grade spaces.
