The SIGMA 811044205 is a malleable iron galvanized reducing tee conforming to the FIG 3105R pattern. It is designed for low-pressure threaded pipe systems where a branch connection requires a different diameter than the run. The tee features female national pipe taper (FNPT) threads on all three ports and is rated for 150 lb service. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for use in wet or exposed environments. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in water supply, general-purpose compressed air, and light industrial piping systems.
This reducing tee is sized at 1-1/4 inches on the run inlet, 3/4 inch on the run outlet, and 1 inch on the branch outlet. It is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, fire protection branch lines, and industrial utility piping where a threaded reducing tee is required. The malleable iron construction handles the mechanical stress of threaded assembly and normal system vibration better than cast iron alternatives.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for standard 150 lb threaded malleable iron pipe systems using FNPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system before disassembling or installing any threaded fittings. Apply an approved pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape to male threads before assembly and tighten to hand-tight plus the appropriate number of turns using pipe wrenches. Do not over-torque malleable iron fittings, as the material can crack under excessive force.
