The SIGMA 811044007 is a FIG 3105R malleable iron galvanized reducing tee designed for threaded pipe assemblies in commercial and industrial piping systems. It features female NPT (FNPT) threads on all three ports and is rated for 150 lb service. The reducing configuration measures 1-1/4 x 3/4 x 1-1/4 inches nominal, allowing a branch connection at a reduced diameter without additional bushings. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for water, air, and general-purpose piping applications. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the typical installers for this fitting class.
This reducing tee is used in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, compressed air distribution, and light industrial piping. The FNPT end style accepts standard NPT male-threaded pipe or nipples on the run and branch ports. The 150 lb pressure rating suits low- to medium-pressure water and air service. The reducing branch is sized at 3/4 inches nominal, while the run ports are 1-1/4 inches nominal, making this fitting useful where a smaller branch line must tap off a larger main line.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard fitment for 150 lb malleable iron threaded pipe systems using 1-1/4 inch nominal run pipe and 3/4 inch nominal branch pipe with NPT threading.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the pipe system completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply an approved pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape to male NPT threads before assembly. Do not overtighten threaded connections, as malleable iron fittings can crack under excessive torque.
