The SIGMA 811043207 is a FIG 3105R malleable iron reducing tee designed for threaded pipe assemblies in low-pressure piping systems. It features female national pipe thread (FNPT) connections on all three ports and carries a 150 lb pressure rating. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance for use in wet or exposed environments. This fitting connects a 1-1/4 inch run with a 1 inch branch outlet, returning to 1-1/4 inch on the outlet side of the run. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting in commercial and industrial pipe networks where flow direction or pipe diameter changes are required.
This reducing tee is suited for use in water distribution, steam, air, and general-purpose piping systems rated within the 150 lb class. The FNPT end style is compatible with standard threaded pipe and fittings assembled with pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape. It is a common choice for mechanical rooms, utility piping, and process lines where a branch takeoff at a reduced diameter is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting compatible with standard 150 lb threaded malleable iron pipe fitting systems using FNPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or IFGC code requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape to all male threads before assembly. Do not over-tighten, as malleable iron threads can crack under excessive torque.
