The SIGMA 811042019 is a malleable iron galvanized reducing tee rated at 150 lb, designed for threaded pipe assemblies in water, air, steam, and general industrial service. This FIG 3105R fitting uses Female National Pipe Taper (FNPT) end connections and accepts nominal pipe sizes of 3/4 inch on the run and 3/4 inch on the outlet, with a 1 inch run on the branch entry side. The galvanized finish provides corrosion resistance in demanding environments. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in both commercial and residential systems where a threaded reducing connection is required to transition between pipe sizes.
This reducing tee is suited for low-pressure threaded piping systems including domestic water distribution, compressed air lines, heating supply and return piping, and general mechanical piping. The FNPT thread pattern conforms to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1, making it compatible with standard threaded pipe and fittings across the plumbing and HVAC trades. Its 150 lb pressure rating covers the majority of residential and light commercial applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for 150 lb malleable iron threaded piping systems using 3/4 inch and 1 inch nominal pipe with FNPT connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and IPC or IFGC requirements. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before breaking any threaded connection. Apply an appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly, and tighten to hand-snug before applying wrench torque with a strap or pipe wrench. Do not over-torque FNPT connections, as malleable iron threads can crack if driven past proper engagement.
