The SIGMA 811030006 is a FIG 3105 straight pipe tee designed for threaded pipe assemblies in commercial and residential plumbing, gas distribution, and mechanical piping systems. Sized at 3/4 inch nominal with female National Pipe Taper (FNPT) end connections on all three ports, this fitting accepts standard tapered male pipe threads for a leak-resistant, pressure-rated joint. Constructed from galvanized malleable iron and rated at 150 lb, the 811030006 delivers reliable performance in moderate-pressure service where corrosion resistance and mechanical strength are both required. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this fitting type.
This straight tee is suited for branch connections in 3/4 inch threaded pipe runs. Typical applications include water distribution, low-pressure steam, air lines, and gas piping where galvanized malleable iron fittings are specified. The FNPT thread pattern on all three outlets makes it compatible with standard NPT-threaded pipe and fittings across residential, light commercial, and industrial piping layouts. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC) or International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) where applicable. Shut off and depressurize the pipe system completely before removing or installing any threaded fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads before assembly, and tighten to hand-tight plus the manufacturer-specified turns as required by code. Do not over-torque malleable iron fittings, as cracking can occur.
