The SIEMON COMPANY M1-50 is a 66-type punch-down block designed for field termination of 50-pair telephone and low-voltage data cabling. It provides a reliable, organized termination point for cross-connecting or distributing wire pairs in structured wiring systems. The M4x50 configuration accommodates 50 pairs across four-conductor bridging clips and is built for use in telecommunications rooms, equipment closets, and distribution frames. Licensed communications and low-voltage technicians are the primary installers of this component.
This block is suited for residential and commercial structured cabling installations where telephone, data, or control wiring requires a central termination point. It is a standard component in main distribution frames and intermediate distribution frames. The field-termination design allows technicians to terminate wires on-site without pre-terminated assemblies, giving flexibility across a wide range of wiring layouts and pair counts.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fit for 66-type block installations in structured low-voltage cabling systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed low-voltage or communications technician in accordance with applicable local codes and TIA-568 structured cabling standards. De-energize all circuits before terminating pairs on the block. Use a standard 66-block punch-down tool to seat and trim conductors properly. Avoid over-bending pairs during dressing to maintain impedance consistency.
