Siemens HTSW-1 System Tamper Switch

The Model HTSW-1 Tamper Switch is a 3-position switch that monitors the opening of the CAB1, CAB2 or CAB3 enclosure and reports a security alarm. Closing the door automatically returns the switch to its normal operating position. The switch can be pulled out to indicate a closed position for maintenance purposes.

Application
Disconnect BATTERY and AC prior to working on equipment.
If your configuration is UL 1076, it requires the HTSW-1 Tamper Switch.
The HTSW-1 mounts into the rectangular slot located in the frame of the backbox of a CAB1, CAB2 or CAB3 enclosure. Refer to Figure 2 for the location of the knockout slots for the tamper switch.
