Siemens FDBZ-RTL Remote Alarm Indicator
The FDBZ492-RTL Remote Alarm Indicator works with the FDBZ492-R or FDBZ492-PR Air Duct Housing with Relays. The LED on the remote indicator mimics the color of the LED on the detector. Use the re- mote indicator in applications where the detector is not easily viewed, such as air ducts and drop ceilings.
The remote indicator may be placed up to 25 feet away from its associated detector using 14-18 gauge wire:
Use a single-gang switch box (user supplied) for mounting the FDBZ492-RTL.
Wire as shown in Figure 2.
Electrical Ratings: 0.2mA (max) @ 24VDC
Refer to the FDBZ Installation Instructions, P/N A6V10336866, for connection to the addressable detector air duct housing.
