Product Description

Shurtape AF984CT is a cold-temperature Foil/Scrim/Kraft (FSK) tape for sealing seams in scrim-reinforced duct insulation and forming a water and vapor barrier. It uses an aluminum foil/fiberglass scrim/kraft backing with a white acrylic cold-temperature adhesive and a non-contaminating silicone-coated paper release liner. Service temperature range is -20 F to 260 F and the product is tested to UL 723 for flame and smoke performance.

• FSK backing: aluminum foil with fiberglass scrim and kraft paper; linered for easy handling and wrinkle-free reinforcement.
• Cold-temperature white acrylic adhesive; service temperature -20 F to 260 F; UL 723 tested (FSI 5 / SDI 0).
• Mechanical: tensile 34 lbs/in width (59.5 N/10 mm), elongation 3%, adhesion to stainless steel 64 oz/in (7.0 N/10 mm); thickness without liner 7.4 mils (0.19 mm).
