The backing is dead-soft aluminum foil at 2 mil thickness, paired with a cold temperature, white, acrylic-based adhesive that maintains a strong bond through extreme temperature fluctuations and variable weather conditions. A non-contaminating, siliconized, flat, white paper release liner protects the adhesive until application. This is a contractor-grade product built for professional installation environments.
