The SHURTAPE 105336 is a medium-duty, high-temperature masking tape engineered for professional paint masking and metal fabrication work in demanding industrial environments. Built on a strong, smooth crepe paper backing with a rubber adhesive system, this tape delivers reliable adhesion to a wide range of industrial surfaces without lifting or curling. It withstands temperatures up to 325 degrees F for up to 30 minutes, making it suited for bake cycle applications. At 6.6 mils thick, it resists tearing and slivering during application and removal. Licensed contractors and industrial finishing technicians working with high-performance coatings will find it ready for repetitive, production-line use.
This tape is designed for use in transportation finishing environments including automotive body shops, coach and bus fabrication facilities, and marine manufacturing operations. It adheres well to metal, composite, and painted surfaces where industrial coatings are applied. Its resistance to water, solvents, and gel coats makes it a practical choice for multi-step finishing processes where the tape must stay in place through washdowns or coating applications before the final bake cycle. UV resistance for up to 3 days supports outdoor staging and pre-paint workflows. Each roll measures 72 MM wide by 55 M long.
Designed for high-temperature masking applications on metal, composite, and coated surfaces in automotive, marine, coach, bus, and general transportation finishing operations where industrial coatings and bake cycles are used.
Surface should be clean, dry, and free of oils or loose material before application to ensure full adhesion. Apply with firm, even pressure along the entire tape edge to prevent bleed-through. Do not exceed the rated 325 degrees F temperature or 30-minute bake cycle duration. Remove tape promptly after the workpiece has cooled to avoid adhesive transfer.
