Shure Brothers Inc. UA8100 Uhf Coaxial Antenna Cable

Product Description

The SHURE BROTHERS INC. UA8100 is a 100-foot UHF coaxial antenna cable designed for use with wireless microphone systems and antenna distribution equipment. This cable provides a reliable low-loss signal path between remote antennas and wireless receivers, allowing installers to position antennas for optimal RF coverage without placing receiver rack units directly at the antenna location. It is typically installed by AV systems integrators, sound engineers, and professional audio technicians working in live sound, broadcast, and installed sound environments.

The UA8100 is suited for professional audio installations where UHF wireless microphone systems require antenna remoting over longer cable runs. Typical applications include houses of worship, theaters, conference centers, and broadcast facilities where antenna placement must be optimized for RF signal strength and coverage. The 100-foot length provides flexibility in separating antenna placement from equipment rack locations.

Key Features

• 100-foot length for extended antenna remoting in professional wireless microphone installations
• UHF-rated coaxial construction for compatibility with UHF wireless system frequency ranges
• Designed for use with antenna distribution and wireless receiver systems
• Sold as a single unit for straightforward procurement and replacement

Compatibility

Designed as an OEM-style antenna cable for use with UHF wireless microphone systems and compatible antenna distribution components requiring coaxial antenna cabling.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a qualified AV technician or systems integrator familiar with RF signal chain best practices. Power down all wireless receiver and distribution equipment before connecting or disconnecting antenna cables. Avoid sharp bends or kinks in the cable run, as these can degrade signal performance. Consult the wireless system manufacturer's documentation for maximum cable run recommendations and any required in-line amplification.
