The SHOWA XC500M-07 is an ultra-light cut-resistant glove rated at ANSI/ISEA A5 cut resistance, designed for industrial hand protection where dexterity and cut hazard mitigation are both required. The glove is built on a seamless HPPE, stainless steel, and polyester liner, delivering level E/A5 cut protection without the bulk typically associated with high-cut-rated gloves. A polyurethane palm coating adds abrasion resistance and grip retention in dry and light-wet conditions. This glove is sized Medium and sold by the dozen, with a minimum order quantity of 6 dozen.
The XC500M-07 is suited for light to medium industrial applications including assembly, parts handling, metal fabrication, glass handling, and general manufacturing environments. The combination of a lightweight liner and PU palm coating makes it appropriate for tasks that demand tactile feedback alongside reliable cut protection. The gray colorway is standard for shop-floor identification. Installed by safety coordinators or issued by industrial supply programs to production and assembly workers.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant glove for industrial hand protection programs requiring ANSI/ISEA A5 cut resistance in light to medium-duty applications.
Cut-resistant gloves should be inspected before each use for liner damage, coating delamination, or visible wear that could compromise cut protection. Gloves with compromised liners or coating separation should be removed from service immediately. Glove selection and use should align with the site hazard assessment conducted by a safety professional in accordance with applicable OSHA PPE standards. Launder or replace per the manufacturer guidance to maintain rated protection levels.
