The SHARKBITE ur072 is a 1/2 inch push-to-connect female NPT straight adapter designed for fast, reliable connections in potable water and radiant heating systems. The body is made from dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass, which resists corrosion and cracking over time. An EPDM O-ring provides a secure, leak-free seal rated to 400 psi and 200 degrees F maximum water temperature. The fitting transitions CTS pipe to a female NPT threaded connection without the need for solvents, clamps, or open flame. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in both residential and commercial plumbing applications.

The ur072 is suited for above-ground and underground installations, including behind-wall and in-slab radiant heating runs. Installation Notes
