The SHARKBITE/CASH ACME UC260LFA10 is a lead-free brass barb insert elbow designed to join two sections of 1-inch cross-linked polyethylene (PEX) tubing at a 90-degree angle. Sold in a 10-pack, each fitting meets NSF/ANSI Standard 14-2009 and ASTM F1807 requirements for potable water systems. The wetted surface contains less than 0.25% lead by weight, satisfying AB1953 California and Vermont VT S152 low-lead restrictions. These fittings are secured using cinch clamps or copper crimp rings and are immediately testable to well over 100 psi once installed. Licensed plumbers and PEX contractors use this fitting for residential and light commercial water distribution work.
